Very rust free chassis all panels appear original and rust free. Originally the car was sepia brown and at some point on the 80's it was painted guards red. The paint is poor and has cracking and flaking also bubbling throughout i personally love it ,,it is very very vintage looking and still is bright and gorgeous vintage marchel h4 headlights and marchel iod fog lights excellent shape and bright wheels.. It has factory rsr 9x15 rear fuchs wheels 7x15 fuchs in front they are in original condition with nicks and wearengine.. The engine is the matching coa numbers with mfi system it seems highly modified compared to all other early 911 i have ownedthis engine really likes full throttle and 80+ mph.. Hates slow traffic driving seems much much faster than a 72s i owned .. Unknown history it does leak oil in a few places.. But always starts right up andalways been reliable with basic tune up stuffok driver or full restore is in orderinterior .. The interior is great vintage condition factory sport seats with tilt bases .. They are very worn in and the most comfortable porsche seats i have sat in .. . Retrowagen gets more performance. introductionthe chevrolet hhr is a car-based retro-wagon that celebrates its chevy heritage with styling inspired by the iconic 1949 suburban. Hhr stands for heritage high roof, a reference to the early high-roofed suburbans and panel trucks that inspired the design of the hhr.  based on the same platform as the chevrolet cobalt, the hhr was first launched as a 2006 model. The hhr competes most closely with the chrysler pt cruiser, but also with honda element, ford escape, and jeep liberty.  for 2008, the hhr lineup gets a new high-performance ss model.  we found the chevy hhr fun to drive. It isn't a sports car, but it's nimble and we were pleased with its acceleration. The hhr feels more responsive than its horsepower, torque, and transmission ratio numbers suggest. Plus, it gets decent fuel economy.  the hhr panel van features smooth, windowless side panels and rear cargo doors with no handles. The rear cargo doors open via an instrument panel button. While it’s more spartan inside and provides seating for only two, the panel best exemplifies the early suburban heritage.  the hhr ss is the most fun to drive, launching quickly off the line and offering sharp handling. On an autocross circuit, we found it handled like a sports car.  the hhr interior isn't as functional as we'd like, however. And the base cloth fabric left us wishing we'd ordered the optional leather.  the chevrolet hhr remains relatively unchanged for 2007 with the exception of slightly more powerful engines and a few additional new color choices. New exterior color options for 2007 include imperial blue metallic and golden teal metallic; a new interior color option is ebony. lineupthe 2008 chevy hhr comes in three distinctively different configurations: hhr, hhr panel, and the new hhr ss. It comes in several trim levels, including the base ls and two lt grades. The ss comes with a high-performance 2. 0-liter turbocharged engine.  the ls 16,515) comes with cloth upholstery, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a substantial level of standard features and equipment. The lt 17,175) adds an mp3 player with a jack for an ipod, eight ways to adjust the driver's seat, and satin chrome trim.  the 2lt package 2,395) adds the 2. 4-liter ecotec engine, anti-lock brakes, traction control, fog lights, a 260-watt pioneer sound system with seven speakers, 17-inch aluminum wheels, sport-tuned suspension and bright chrome trim.  the hhr panel 2lt 20,850) comes with the satin chrome exterior package, sports suspension, 17-inch painted aluminum wheels. The pioneer sound system is optional. The base hhr panel ls 16,820) is equipped similarly to the five-passenger ls.  safety features include optional front and rear side-curtain airbags 395). Abs comes standard on the 2lt, and is optional for the ls and 1lt 400). Stabilitrak electronic stability control is now standard across the entire hhr model range. walkaroundwe like the retrospective styling treatment served up by the hhr across the model range. The closest comparison to the chevy hhr is the chrysler pt cruiser. Both fill a respective need in their individual camps.  the rounded nose of the hhr is not unlike chevy's ssr, which also reflects the brand's truck heritage. The hhr's fenders are well defined with flat side wheel well openings contrasting favorably with the vehicle's many curved, contemporary sculpted surfaces. Front and rear bumpers and fog lamps are integrated into seamless fascia, with integrated running boards offering another nostalgic touch. The flush glass all around, including the windshield is a nice touch, as are the headlights surrounded by body panels in old school fashion. The tail light treatment consists of two round vertically stacked lenses on each side. The large, prominent grille is chrome, (except on the ss model), and appears much like that of the 1949 suburban.  front and rear bumpers are molded from composite material, integrated as part of their respective fascia. It provides lots of room and functionality without being boxy. When viewed from a distance, the hhr looks larger than it really is. Examined closely, it's compact. The cargo doors open wide enabling cargo access from both sides of the vehicle, as well as from the rear lift gate. The cargo doors are smooth and don’t have external handles; they are opened via a dashboard release button or the remote keyless entry fob. The large, continuous area created by the windowless cargo doors and rear panels is ideal for business logos, advertising or personalization. Side visibility is obviously limited due to the solid sides without windows; one must rely primarily on mirrors for backing maneuvers. The smooth, windowless sides on the panel give it a cleaner, retro, more hot rod look than the standard models. The lack of windows adds security for contents inside.  the hhr ss sits 6 mm lower than it stable mates, but sports extended front and rear fascias that give it the appearance of riding much lower. The new front fascia features an air-dam design with integrated fog lights, and the chrome surround grille comes with mesh-style upper and lower grille inserts. The new rear fascia provides a cutout for single bright exhaust tip. New rocker moldings resemble accentuated running boards. Out back, a rear spoiler is mounted above rear glass. Body-color door handles, mirror caps and rear license plate surround, along with ss badging on the front doors and rear lift gate further differentiate the ss from its stable mates. interiorinside, the chevy hhr provides for the most part, comfortable and functional surroundings. Speaking of headroom, there isn't a lot of it, in spite of the high roof. Also, the door lock button is positioned so that it interferes in driving and resting one's left arm on the window sill, a traditional and nostalgic pose.  cubby storage is limited. There's a handy flip-up compartment on top of the dash and a small glovebox. The rear provides one cupholder and small door pockets. The rear cargo floor flips up to reveal a five-inch-deep tray useful for storage. The rear lift gate is one piece, and raises easily.  solid rear quarter panels are available in place of the windows on all five-passenger models (via a window delete option).  the hhr panel provides seating for two and a large, flat cargo floor, with tie-down points located strategically on the floor with available, floor mats that allow for easier movement of cargo. The hhr panel features a flat load floor featuring a rubberized floor that provides utility and functionality for commercial or lifestyle activities.  the hhr panel cargo area features a standard auxiliary power outlet, as well as a 40-amp auxiliary power connector to provide service for a variety of specialty equipment needs. Two large, storage compartments, with a lockable option, are located forward under the cargo floor (in place of the rear seats in the passenger models). The compartments offer security for things such as computer equipment, flashlights, service manuals and other valuables.  the hhr ss features a special interior with ss-embroidered sport seats with inserts, a specific gauge cluster, an a-pillar-mounted turbo boost gauge and a new shifter arrangement. Three interior color combinations are available: ebony, light gray and victory red. A special gm performance driver’s seat, providing added lateral support and spirited driving comfort is optional and we think it's a must. driving impressionthe 2. 4-liter ecotec (an upgrade that comes as part of the 2lt package) is an impressive and versatile engine. The torque peak figure at such high rpm suggests that the low-rpm pulling power might be weak, but quite to the contrary, it's not. We drive up a steep, slow hill every day, and the hhr plugged up the hill like a tractor, with no shifting-down or searching by the automatic transmission. This high-load, low-rpm driving is what many drivers demand.  transmission ratios have a lot to do with the efficient del. The hyundai sonata hasn't yet found its signature trademark cues, but this new generation shows that its designers are looking in the right places.  the sonata's fascia is refreshingly clean and spare, with sharply angled headlight housings and a quiet, clean-cut grille topped with a sliver of chrome. Wide and deep openings beneath the front bumper provide a home for tightly focused fog lamps and visually pull the front end closer to the ground, while directing cooling air into the radiator. The striking, concave hood reduces the car's perceived mass without cramping the engine compartment.  the side treatment avoids the all too common wedge look with an almost horizontal beltline riding above softly shouldered fenders and door panels. Mirrored z-seams where the end corners of the bumpers meet the quarter panels add interest, while blacked-out window surrounds play down the tallish side glass. The flat-flanged rims on the up-level 17-inch wheels suggest a high-end european import more than an affordable asian nameplate.  the taillight outlines repeat the headlight shapes and bookend a broad, trapezoidal license plate inset. Again, there's a hint of other cars' architecture, most notably contemporary camrys and accords. Sporty, california hot rod-idiom dual exhausts mark the v6-equipped models. interiorthe interior of this newest hyundai sonata marks a major step up the quality ladder. The overall look is clearly competitive with most in the class and better than some. Some rough edges on a few plastic molds and a less-than-lustrous finish on some dash panels are the only shortcomings we noticed.  a polished, hard-surfaced applique capped with a thin slice of chrome divides the upper and lower halves of the dash. The upper is a glare-absorbing dark color, the lower a space-enhancing light tone. The passenger airbag enclosure is seamless, mimicking the trend in higher-end midsize sedans.  as with many modern cars, the stereo head is fully integrated into the dash, making difficult any aftermarket customizing of the sound system but adding an upscale touch. Air conditioner controls are mounted beneath the stereo, within the accent trim centered in the lower portion of the center stack. Stereo and air conditioner controls are substantial, finger-friendly, intuitive knobs and buttons, with status and selections clearly displayed in their respective lcds.  three round dials in the hooded instrument cluster communicate the bare necessities of operational data to the driver. The largest is the speedometer, nestled inside a polished circle. To its left is the tachometer, to its right conjoined water temperature and fuel gauges. In the lower dash to the left of the steering column is a bank of five switch plugs, only two of which are employed in the u. Version, one as an on/off for the esc, the other the dash-light rheostat. Beyond that is a flip-down storage bin. The ignition key slides into a slot placed where it should be, in the dash to the right of the steering column instead of on the steering column itself. Easier and more elegant when starting or shutting off the car.  all models get a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Redundant controls for the audio (optional on gls, standard on se and limited) are appended to the lower left-side of the hub. They are arrayed somewhat oddly, with the mode selector on top and the volume controlled by the lower two, versus the more common approach of sandwiching the mode button between the volume controls. On the other side of the hub are the standard cruise controls, with a helpful cancel function. Hyundai says the audio controls will be improved by the end of the model year.  outward visibility is good, although the wide c-pillars constrict quick, over-the-shoulder traffic checks for lane changing. Rear side windows roll all the way down, thanks to small, fixed, rear quarter windows that move the windows' rear tracks forward in the door, ahead of the wheel well. There's a roof-mounted, hinged assist handle inside every door.  seats are comfortable, with adequate bolstering for the style of driving to which the sonata aspires. The standard cloth upholstery looks and feels durable; while the limited's leather adds a touch of class without pretending to be luxurious. The height adjustment on the driver's seat, both manual and power, pivots on the seat's front mounts, which effectively moves the seat forward as it rises. This compels taller drivers to choose between rearward seat travel and forward sightline, not always a happy compromise. On the upside, this adds inches to rear-seat legroom behind the driver, one of the multitude of measures in which the '06 sonata bests the competition. Among the primary competitors, the new sonata comes in second only to the honda accord in front and rear headroom, and to the toyota camry in rear-seat headroom, and by a mere one- to three-tenths of an inch. And of the second-tier competitors, the kia optima alone betters the ne.

2008 ford f-150 review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. With the segment's only rear-hinged side access doors, the regular cab gives excellent recline space and an easy reach to everything dropped behind the seat. At the other end of the scale, premium models include two-tone leather seats, polished 22-inch wheels and other touches: within those extremes lies something for everyone.  2008 marks the first availability of an xl-grade supercrew with 5. 5- or 6. 5-foot bed: maximum people space with a work truck ethic. Detail changes for 2008 run the gamut from functional to decorative, the latter a wheels and stripes package for stx models, the former a standard tachometer for xl and stx with manual transmission, tire pressure monitors on the heavy-duty package, plus the availability of a cargo management system, remote start, telescoping towing mirrors, and a rearview camera (that does not require purchase of a navigation system).  with one of the deepest beds in the half-ton pickup segment, the f-150 has generous cargo volume out back and a maximum payload rating of 3,050 pounds. A foose edition f-150 designed by hot-rod master chip foose will be available as a late-2008 model. The base f-150 xl 17,345) is a short, regular cab two-wheel drive. Wheels are steel, the grille is black and bumpers painted, vinyl covers the floor and seats, and the audio is am/fm. However, it does have intermittent wipers, map lights, a 40/20/40 split bench front seat with driver lumbar adjustment, and on supercabs 23,440) air conditioning. Since it frequently adds other upgrades and a larger engine, 4wd adds almost $6,000 (and a v8) to the most basic example and $3,000 to the lowest-priced supercab.  stx models up the ante without going broke, with body-color front and rear bumpers and grille trim, air conditioning, cd player, and cloth upholstery. A 4x2 regular cab short bed starts at $21,050 and a 4x4 supercab flareside goes for $29,045; there is no stx supercrew.  central to the lineup, and sales, is the xlt. To an stx it adds chrome bumpers, black honeycomb grille, remote keyless entry, power mirrors/locks/windows, carpeting, auto headlamps, tinted windows, and better fabric for the 40/20/40 seat. Hefty rubber mats protect the carpet; other upgrades include a leather-wrapped wheel, unique instrument display, and sport cloth upholstery with driver and passenger lumbar support. Monotone paint includes the bumpers (gray with tow-tone paint), flares cover 18-inch aluminum wheels, and the door gets keypad entry. On regular cabs 24,105-30,645) the fx4 is $5,750 over the fx2 and there's no long-wheelbase fx4; on supercab and supercrew 28,700-35,445), the 4wd version is a $3,295 premium.  the lariat label is reserved for more luxurious, car-like interiors, and does not include regular cab or flareside models; retail prices range from $29,895-$35,595. Fancy bits include 18-inch aluminum wheels, power heated mirrors with signal repeaters, climate control, leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel, powered driver's seat, trip computer, light-faced gauges, and chrome and arizona beige trim.  for 2008, ford will build 5,000 lariat limited f-150s, replete with serial-number plates, spun-metal instrument cluster trim, two-tone leather cabin, color-matched grille and bumpers, and three-dimensional chrome bed side badging. Limited models are offered only as 139-inch wheelbase supercrews in two- 35,160) or all-wheel drive 38,160).  top tier among regular production models is the king ranch, with castano leather modeled after the saddles that roamed the texas ranch. Exterior trim is similar to lariats, with color-matching components and arizona beige accents. At this level, items such as heated power seats and power-folding mirrors are standard. And the 2008 ford f-150 shows the evolution of 70 years of function. Angular means easy to clean, easy to park and gives maximum inside volume for outside space. The f-150 is easily recognized in any trim level by the circular front lights within a rectangular housing, stepped front window ledge, opening rear doors on the regular cab, and the tall bed. For 2008, extendable dual-element towing mirrors bring the f-150 in line with the bigger super duty pickups, as well as the ram, titan, and tundra. Any cosmetic sacrifice is well worth the extra visibility with a trailer behind.  pillars between the doors may yield a blind spot for those who sit more rearward and everyone should appreciate the windshield pillar designed to help preserve forward vision. The flareside really is more stylish than the styleside bed, that which is essentially a box with some character lines in the sheetmetal, and more space within. The chrome harley badges are a bit much for some of us, but it drew many admiring looks. interiorford has all bases covered inside the f-150, with plenty of patterns, textures and finishes, including at least three different gauges clusters, and the choice of a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat or captain's chairs in many models. Captain's chairs on fx and lariat models, especially with power adjustment and the optional adjustable pedals, provide good driver positioning for virtually everyone. Finding it may take some time because the backrest angle adjustment is manual and the power controls are on the side of the seat with the door very close.
